P -   1969 Trinity Shares, Inc. (TSI) was registered as the first open-end investment company established under the Philippine Investment Company Act of 1960 (R.A. 2629)
 
H -   1979 Trin-Investment Management Services, Inc., the fund manager of TSI was bought and subsequently managed by the Private Development Corporation of the Philippines (PDCP).
 
I -   1992 Philippine American Life and General Insurance Company (Philam Life) purchased a controlling interest in TSI and renamed it Philam Life - PDCP Fund Management, Inc. (PPFMI).
 
L -   1993 Philam Life infused funds into Trinity Shares and re-launched it as Philam Fund, Inc. (PFI).
 
A -   1995 PDCP acquired a banking license which required it to divest from PFI and PPFMI. PPFMI was renamed Philam Fund Management, Inc. (PFMI).
 
M -   1997 Launched the Philam Bond Fund, Inc. (PBFI) to provide alternative investment solutions to investors. PFMI was renamed Philam Asset Management, Inc. (Philam Asset). PBFI was the only fixed-income mutual fund during the crisis.

A -   1998 To cover the whole risk-reward investment spectrum, Philam Strategic Growth Fund was launched (PSGF). PSGF was the best performing mutual fund in 1998.
 
S -   1999 Philam Asset hits Php 1 Billion mark in Assets Under Management (AUM)
 
S -   2001 Philam Asset launched the Philam Dollar Bond Fund, the first dollar bond fund registered and approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the country.
 
E -   2003 Philam Asset hits Php 17.9 Billion in Assets Under Management. In May, it won the investment management contract of the GSIS Kinabukasan Fund with Php 750 Million in Assets.
 
T -   2004 Philam Asset Php 21.9 Billion mark in Assets Under Management.

H -   2005 The implementation of the International Accounting Standards (IAS). Equity-laced funds were converted to marked-to-market in September and the Bond funds were converted in December.
 
I -   2006 Philam Asset launches its sixth fund, Philam Managed Income Fund (PMIF). It also marks the full year experience of marked-to-market valuation of all of its mutual funds.
 
S -   2007 Philam Asset achieves PhP 22 Billion in Assets Under Management
 
T -   2008 Philam Asset launches PAMI Global Bond Fund Philippines, Inc.
 
O -   2009 Philam Asset prepares global funds and secured management of National Cooperative Mutual Fund of the Philippines, Inc. (NCMFP)
 
R -   2009 For the third consecutive year, Philam Asset is the most awarded asset management company given by the Investment Company Association of the Philippines (ICAP) coupled with the first international recognition by the Asian Investors Magazine as the Philippines’ Best Onshore Fund House.
 
Y -   2010 Philam Asset got another award from Lipper recognizing the stellar performance of the GSIS mutual fund as the best balanced fund in the Philippines in the three and five-year return categories.

Readers Digest bestowed upon Philam Asset the Gold Trusted Brand Award for Finance, Investment Fund Company.

Philam Asset launches its eighth mutual fund, the National Cooperative Mutual Fund of the Philippines, Inc. (NCMFP), the country’s very first cooperative mutual fund.
